Jane Weedon is Director of Business Development in the BBC’s Future Media. Jane is currently responsible for the execution of BBC’s partnership strategy within the digital media sector. This involves working with device manufacturers, platforms and social networks to make products such as BBC iPlayer available across PC, mobile, tablet and TV platforms. Jane and her team worked extensively with partners in the run-up to the London 2012 Olympic Games to deliver ground-breaking experiences from BBC Sport to audiences across four screens.  Jane joined the BBC in 2002 from AOL, where she was head of business strategy.

Jane’s non-professional interests include distance cycling and performing stand-up comedy.
