Martin Zimper is head of the new bachelor programm at the Zurich University of the Arts: CAST students learn to produce journalistic and fictional content for Online, Mobile and Streaming Media. They are specialized in small and short formats - "short stories for the small screens". Zimper has a PhD of the University of Vienna. He was writer, media consultant, programme director and CEO for media projects in Germany and Austria. He worked for public Television in Austria (ORF) as well as for private radio stations and publishing houses in Germany and Austria. He teaches Storytelling and Scriptwriting since 1996 in Salzburg (MultimediaArt), Vienna (Institute for Journalism) and Zurich.
