Gideon Summerfield has recently taken the role of Head of Product Development with Base79 (formerly myvideorights). He was formerly Executive Product Manager for BBC iPlayer on TV where he was responsible for the delivery of BBC iPlayer to hundreds of connected TV products, games consoles and IPTV platforms. He has been pioneering in IPTV for over a decade, with other achievements being the UK Football Premiership's first subscription online video service, Arsenal TV, and the creation of Web's first independent science documentary channel.
