Mixmoov Debuts Platform for Online Video Editing Services
At the recent Streaming Forum conference in London, online video editing company Mixmoov showed off a new platform that lets companies create services based on Mixmoov's backend. Mixmoov describes the tools as building blocks that deliver video editing and rendering. The platform integrates the automatic video rendering API that Mixmoov announced in October, 2012.
“Mixmoov now provides a complete platform for solution providers and systems integrators to create services around online video editing,” said Ralph Pélamourgues, CEO of Mixmoov. “They can develop services with their own interfaces using our technology as backend and monetize them.”
Mixmoov also demonstrated updates to the editing interface that let users choose either the standard storyboard interface or the new multi-track mode. The multi-track mode provides a frame-accurate professional view of the video and audio clips. Editors can move freely between the two interfaces without losing any work. These interface improvements were first previewed at the Streaming Media East conference in New York City in May of this year, and are now available for all users. The multi-track mode is even available in the platform announced today.
Mixmoov recently powered an online video creation tool for the Eurovision Song Contest. The company is based in Toulouse, France.
