Marco Tempest to give IBC keynote on virtual production and the metaverse
IBC has announced that technologist and AR/VR innovator Marco Tempest will be the Keynote Speaker at the IBC 2023 Conference. Tempest is Creative Technologist at NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory; a Director’s Fellow Alumni at MIT Media Lab; and Founder of the science, illusion and digital technology consortium magicLab.
Tempest will discuss 'Virtual Production & the Metaverse: A future where everyone is invited to play’, examining how generative AI, mixed reality, storytelling, gestural sensing and swarm robotics can combine to create what’s described as “a delightful, augmented future”.
IBC 2023 takes place in Amsterdam from 15 to 18 September. Marco Tempest is speaking on Saturday 16th September, and the session is free to attend.
