U.K.-based how-to video site Videojug will significantly expand its reach, thanks to a syndication announcement with video site Dailymotion. Videojug already has syndication partnerships in place with YouTube, Yahoo!, Blinkx, and Yell. It also counts Agora and RTL as foreign language partners.

"These latest syndication deals will help us boost reach for, access to, and drive further revenue from our content; and over the coming months we'll be looking to sign a significant number of further partnerships," says Tom Laidlaw, Videojug's CEO.

Those partnerships have helped Videojug reach a major milestone: it has now streamed over a half a billion videos since it first launched in 2006.

Videojug produces professional short-form instructional videos. Videos are created as tutorials and are sorted into thousands of subjects. Those videos are accessible through the website, through iPhone and iPad apps, and through the list of syndication partnerships.

"Online video is now widely acknowledged as a hot growth industry. As a first-to-market how-to online video business, four years in from launch we've built a huge global audience who are engaging with our world-class library of tens of thousands of professionally produced factual and how-to films. This puts us in the position to be able to offer publishers a great opportunity to increase the value of their pages and traffic by leveraging relevant, high quality online video from our multi-channel library," said Laidlaw.
