Video Sales Site Movielocker Cuts Fees
Movielocker, an online video sales service based in Budapest, Hungary, has announced a revision of its plans and prices designed to make selling easier for businesses.
The site offers sales tools that allow video-creators to sell their work online. Movielocker now offers four service plans (up from three). Each plan can be used to distribute videos for free or by donation.
Movielockers' Free plan allows creators to sell up to 20 videos. The Advanced Plan costs $4.99 per month and lets creators sell up to 100 videos. The Premium plan costs $19.99 per month and is good for 500 videos, while the Unlimited plan costs $99.99 per month and can be used to sell an unlimited number of videos.
In each case, Movielocker charges 20 percent of the sale price. There's no video length limit for any plan, and each of the four supports HD video.
The advantages of going with a paid plan include more free views, the ability to create skins or add a logo, and the ability to view analytics. The skin and logo tools are new to Movielocker.
