Dr. Christian Timmerer holds the position of a Senior Assistant Professor at the Alpen-Adria-Universität Klagenfurt and has published more than 120 papers at international conferences and journals. Timmerer is an active member of ISO/IEC MPEG, notably the head of the Austrian delegation and editor for the MPEG-21, MPEG-M, MPEG-V, and MPEG-DASH standards, and thus has also a wide range of contacts within the international technology market.
