Surrey-based personal training company Marek’s Fitness has taken to Zoom and is utilising the premium quality and wide angle capability of AVer Europe’s CAM 340+ camera to provide training and group classes, which has enabled the company to maintain and grow its client base internationally.

Marek’s Fitness made all personal and group training classes virtual a few days before lockdown, the priority being the health and wellbeing of clients. The firm decided to use Zoom but it quickly became apparent that a laptop camera or a typical USB web camera was insufficient, both for sound and vision. Feedback from clients was that the video quality wasn't good enough and the trainer would need to keep repositioning the laptop and camera for different exercises. For the business to survive, it needed a high-quality camera with better audio.

Marek’s Fitness purchased an AVer CAM340+ huddle room conference camera to use for all classes. The team did not mention the new camera to clients but they all commented immediately that the picture quality was far better and the sound was clearer, with little background noise. The wide-angle camera enables the trainers to showcase a range of movements and activities on the camera without disruption.
