MainStreaming, a global video delivery leader, has officially partnered with Sky Italy to provide high-quality video in real time directly to its subscribers on the Sky Go, Sky Q and Now TV platforms. With the HyperNode, MainStreaming’s proprietary technology that enables broadcasters and OTT TV to transmit video in real-time, Sky Italy will use MainStreaming’s service to support the new, Sky via fiber.
This partnership represents an important step towards improving the way video is currently distributed and certifies MainStreaming’s capabilities in providing major broadcasters with the distribution solution that meets all streaming needs for premium Live, Linear and On Demand content.
