Dutch online video expert is expanding and will be moving to a new office building with studio in Düsseldorf
Less than two years after establishing its German branch, Dutch online video expert Quadia has completed an important acquisition in Germany. Through the acquisition of the streaming services division of Code One GmbH, German specialist for video streaming, Quadia will increase its German staff and the company is moving to a new office building that comes with its own video studio.
Quadia already established a branch in Düsseldorf in spring 2012. The company has many customers in the corporate business market and the pharmaceutical sector and further growth opportunities in these sectors in the so called DACH region (Germany, Austria and Switzerland). With the new studio, Quadia will be able to serve the growing demand for webinars in Germany. ‘The growing demand for – among others – our “Easy Webinar” product has led to the decision to set up an advanced webinar studio,’ Robert van der Zwart, Director of Quadia, explains. ‘With this state-of-the-art solution, we are ready for the future and will be able to respond to the wishes of our German clients optimally.’
‘The acquisition of Code One’s streaming division fits perfectly into our growth strategy,’ Nico Verspaget, CEO of Quadia, adds. ‘Code One has a lot of experience in the field of video streaming, both live and on demand, and especially from a productional and a technical point of view. This makes a good match for the Quadia DNA.”
The German office will be moving to Königstraße 10 in Düsseldorf. Dennis Wilsmann will continue to lead the branch.
