Streamworks Announced United Nations as Streaming Partner for the United Nations Department of Public Information

Streamworks, the global specialist in live video, has announced today that it has partnered with the United Nations Department of Public Information to stream United Nations Television (UNTV) coverage of the proceedings taking place at the world body’s headquarters in New York. Content will include live coverage of the Security Council, the General Assembly, press conferences, special events and short-form documentaries produced by the in-house teams at the United Nations.
UNTV content is currently available on the United Nations webcast portal. With Streamworks’ proprietary technology, distribution will be wider with better quality, and platform agnostic to allow contents to be viewed on any internet-enabled devices. This will be operational in time for the United Nations General Assembly. Dedicated fibre lines are currently being built at the United Nations Secretariat, into Streamworks’ global infrastructure and streaming will be available live 24/7/365.
